Driver

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ambulance.

Position Responsibilities:

Safe transportation is the primary responsibility of the driver
Rig check and identify any safety or mechanical hazards
Operation of the ambulance according to all vehicle and traffic laws
Ambulance maintenance and cleanliness
Assist in restock as directed by the medic
Carry out all functions and responsibilities in a responsible manner

Medic

Responsible for effective and appropriate emergency care of patients.

Position Responsibilities:

Effective care in accordance with their local, regional, and state protocols
Completes all documentation in a timely manner
Engages in continual education and consistent training
Daily rig checks to ensure ambulances are in compliance and ready for response

Responsible for effective and appropriate emergency care of patients.

Position Responsibilities:

Encompasses all of the responsibilities of a medic
Leading and coordinating an effective response to an emergency
Scene management
Cardiac monitoring, intravenous/intraosseous access, advanced medication administration, advanced airway management, etc
